My body at the moment doesn&#039;t get on with bread.  I find cooked easier to digest and more sustaining.  My moods are pretty much unaffected by what I eat - I&#039;m a pretty slow-and-steady kind of person (pitta-kapha in the ayurveda system I think).

I was using prunes to alleviate constipation.  But now I am (at the suggestion of a friend) trying figs.  They feel lots better - I feel more solid and grounded and don&#039;t need to eat as much as when I was eating prunes.

I think this is a subject of infinite fascination.</description>
